About me
Megan Turner has 15 years of experience in middle and high school education, including the past 10 years as a teacher librarian. Her librarianship work spans both district level leadership and the last eight years serving at the middle school level. Megan is committed to creating a library collection and programs that foster equity, belonging, and connection while inspiring a lifelong love of reading and promoting digital literacy and wellness. She has developed programs and led initiatives including the I.D.E.A. Fellowship, schoolwide reading programs, board game programs, digital technology programs, and most recently, the alignment and implementation of the News Literacy Project curriculum for both her school site and district. Outside of work, Megan enjoys reading fantasy fiction, traveling anywhere near the water, and spending quiet time with her family.
